SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Dec. 8 at 5:02 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Jail to take into custody a 61-year-old man of Morristown, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,500. He was unable to post bail for the warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Dec. 9 at 9:36 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department detective division to a burglary into two motor vehicles on Aug. 6, police arrested a 36-year-old man, Chariel Rivera of the South Bronx, NY for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(2)]. Secaucus Police say he broke into two Freightliner trucks parked at 1 Emerson Lane between the overnight hours of Aug. 5 into Aug. 6. An automobile part was stolen from one of the trucks. Rivera was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters, issued a complaint warrant and taken to the county jail.

On Dec. 9 at 9:11 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 52-year-old man, Joseph Marshall, of Newark, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], a license plate. Marshall was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 11 at 11:40 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department about an incident of harassment that was reported to the police on Dec. 6, police arrested a 55-year-old man, Andre Campbell of New York, NY for Tampering with Witnesses [2C:28-5A(2)]. Campbell was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters, issued his warrant and taken to the county jail. Campbell was previously arrested on robbery/shoplifting charges from the Secaucus Walmart, and police say after he was arrested and then released, he began to harass the witness via telephone.

On Dec. 12 at 8:50 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 23-year-old woman of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10 % option. She was able to post bail, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 12 at 1:58 p.m., officers from the New Jersey State Police responded to Secaucus Police headquarters to turnover custody of a 32-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was taken to the county jail.
On Dec. 12 at 12:23 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Jail to take into custody a 33-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Springfield, NJ in the amount of $3,500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Trenton, NJ in the amount of $250. He was unable to post bail for any warrants and was taken to the county jail.
On Dec. 12 at 11:29 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old woman of Jersey City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. She was issued two motor vehicle summonses and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Dec. 13 at 8:00 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43-year-old woman of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg, NJ in the amount of $550. Guttenberg PD released her pending a future court date. She was issued two motor vehicle summonses and released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
