SECAUCUS, NJ — This August, a series of four workshops was held at the Secaucus Public Library to teach children and teens how to deal with stress in school and life.
The program ended Monday. It was taught by followers of MAAsterG, a self-help guru and spiritual life coach. In total, 25 Secaucus kids attended the four week "Community Happiness and Self-Development" program.
The classes were designed for children ages 10–16. Children explored topics such as managing emotions, overcoming peer pressure, social media traps and envisioning their future goals. The activities combined interactive games, reflections and group discussions, allowing kids to learn in a fun and supportive environment.
