SECAUCUS, NJ — You've got lots of options this weekend and next to get out of the house this Valentine's Day in Secaucus, with or without the kids.
- Feb. 8: Shannon Rose Irish pub in Clifton (98 Kingsland Rd, Clifton, NJ 07014) is hosting a special Valentine’s Kid’s Brunch from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. this Saturday, February 8. The family-friendly event will have a DJ dance party, face painting, cookie decorating, raffle baskets, and Valentine’s card and craft making for kids. Plus, a portion of brunch sales will benefit the American Heart Association. The Ramsey Shannon Rose is also hosting a Valentine's Day party, same date and time.
- Feb. 8: The Craft Clique in Secaucus will also host a free family Valentine's Day party 11 - 12 p.m. Feb. 8. Not a drop off, you must stay with kids. Free for Secaucus residents.
- Feb. 8: The Craft Clique will also host a paint 'n sip party at night on Feb. 8. Adults only. 7-9 p.m., $25. They supply the paint and craft supplies. BYOB.
- Feb. 14: The town of Secaucus is kindly providing free babysitting on Valentine's Day. The town of Secaucus will again host Kids' Night In, Parents' Night Out on Feb. 14.
6:30 - 9 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Secaucus Rec Center on Koelle Blvd. The town will be showing the movie "Garfield" and will serve pizza. Open to kids ages 5-12 years. Drop out your kid and then go out and have fun. You must register in advance; register through the Rec Desk.
- Feb. 14: The Secaucus Craft Clique will also host a drop-off event Feb. 14 where you can drop your kid off and they will make a craft. $25 per child. 6-9 p.m. Feb. 14.
- Feb. 15/16: Spuntino Wine Bar in Clifton will offer a Galentine's Day brunch Feb. 15 and 16 with bottomless mimosas.
