Person Was Not Hit At Secaucus Train Station, Amtrak Clarifies
An Amtrak engineer reported sighting two trespassers on the tracks near Secaucus, but did not hit them, Amtrak says:

SECAUCUS, NJ — NJ Transit originally tweeted that an Amtrak train hit someone on the tracks near Secaucus Junction Wednesday afternoon, but that is not correct, an Amtrak spokesperson clarified Thursday morning.
An Amtrak engineer reported sighting two trespassers on the tracks at about 5 p.m. Wednesday near the Secaucus train station, said Amtrak spokesman Jason Abrams.
However, the train did not strike anyone.

NJ Transit said it has since revised what it tweeted.
The incident did cause commuting delays in and out of New York City Penn station Wednesday evening.
