Meadowlands Comedy Festival Runs April 26-April 30

SECAUCUS, NJ — The last weekend in April will be the seventh annual Meadowlands Comedy Festival, which runs from April 26 to April 30.

The comedy festival is run by Joe Loesner, who occasionally hosts the comedy shows at Meadowlands Plaza Hotel here in Secaucus.

The festival got its start in 2013, and its first night of stand-up was at the Plank Road Inn.

It has now grown to five nights of shows with 40 comedians, with opening night at the Copacabana in New York City, and all others here in the Meadowlands.

Opening night, Wednesday, April 26 at the world-famous Copacabana 625 West 51st New York, NY

Doors open 7:30 p.m.; showtime 8:30 p.m.

Host Lee Paul features comedians Gina DiMaggio,Will Romero, Sonya Vai, Troy Hughes, Frank Vera, Marina Patrova, Keith Collins and Sam Kochman. Co Headliner Davian Velez with Headliner Barry Ribs.

Thursday, April 27 at Annabella's House of Mozzarella 900 Paterson Plank Rd, East Rutherford

Doors open 7 p.m. showtime 8 p.m.

Host Frank Vera featuring Comedians Mario Lucena, Can Can, Darin Joseph, VJ Preziosi, Ron G and Laz Vic. Admission to this event is free of charge. Dinner reservations can call Annabella's House of Mozzarella

Friday, April 28 at Redd's

Location: Upstairs at Redd's 317 Washington Ave Carlstadt, next to American Dream.

Doors open 8 p.m., showtime 9 p.m.

America's Stand Up Comedy Championship Show. Host Ryan Patrick featuring comedians Christopher Carfaro, Donita Michelle, Mike Cotayo, Akudo Ejelonu, Matt Lopes, Jake Vevera and Davian Velez. You the audience and a panel of judges get to vote for the winner.

The winner win become America's Undisputed Stand Up Comedy Champion.

Saturday, April 29 Back at Annabella's House of Mozzarella 900 Paterson Plank Rd East Rutherford

Doors open 8 p.m., showtime 9 p.m.

Host Ruthy Ferrera featuring comedians Troy Hughes, Special guest Kosha Dillz from the from the upcoming season of Wild N Out. With Laz Vic and Headliner from the Hit TV shows Billions and the Black List Gregory Korostishevsky.
