China Chef In Secaucus To Become Pancake House

New owners just purchased the building that used to house China Chef in Secaucus.

SECAUCUS, NJ — New owners just purchased the building that used to house China Chef in Secaucus.

The owners plan to reopen it as a restaurant and it will be a pancake house, revealed Mayor Mike Gonnelli. He said they officially took ownership last Friday, May 30.

The new owners purchased the building and own it outright; they will not be leasing it to run the restaurant. Gonnelli said he did not know if they also purchased the liquor license, which was also for sale.
