SECAUCUS, NJ — The Indian grocery store in Secaucus had to abruptly shut down last week because the store does not have the proper electric wiring, nor did they obtain the correct permits from the town for electric work.

This is according to Mayor Mike Gonnelli on Monday. He said Grocery Square, located at 845 First Street in the former martial arts building, was closed by the town Friday.

He said they intend to reopen this week, possibly as early as Tuesday.
