Hole In Road Closes Meadowlands Pkwy./Castle Road Connection

SECAUCUS, NJ — In what will most likely be a major inconvenience for the many commercial trucks that use Castle Road, the small bridge that connects Meadowlands Parkway to Castle Road is currently closed.

That is due to a hole on the bridge; see above.

There is no telling how long that bridge will be out. The town of Secaucus already has engineers on site.

Said Secaucus Police as of 5 p.m. Monday evening: "The small overpass that connects Meadowlands Parkway and Castle Road (near the Secaucus Animal Shelter) has been shut down due to an unsafe hole in the roadway. Please plan an alternate route - Seaview Drive remains open."
