Human Trafficking Survivor Will Share Her Story At Secaucus Town Hall

Capt. Javier Toro of the Hudson County Prosecutor's Special Victims Unit and Cindy Decker, a survivor of human trafficking, will speak.

SECAUCUS, NJ — This Saturday, Jan. 11 is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day, and the Secaucus Rotary Club will host a flag raising ceremony at Secaucus town hall to raise awareness of the problem of human trafficking.

The flag raising and press conference will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Secaucus town hall. There will be the following guest speakers:

  • Secaucus Mayor Michael Gonnelli
  • Stephen De Luca, NJ Coalition Against Human Trafficking
  • Hudson County Prosecutor's Office SVU Captain Javier Toro, Special Victims Unit
  • Cindy Decker, survivor of human trafficking

This is part of Rotary International District 7490 "Rotarians Combating Human Trafficking and Slavery."
