SECAUCUS, NJ — Get ready to eat, Secaucus. Some new restaurants are coming to town this spring:
A KPot Korean BBQ location will open in the Harmon Meadow section, near where the old Pier 1 Imports was located, according to Mayor Mike Gonnelli.
KPot offers Korean BBQ and Asian hot pot soups, where you cook seasoned meats on a grill at your table, or in a hot steaming bowl of broth in front of you. If you want to experience what KPot is like, there is an existing location in Kearny and another one on Grand Street in Jersey City.

KPot is in the midst of a major New Jersey expansion, with locations also opening in Hazlet, South Plainfield and Toms River in 2023. The company confirmed their opening in Secaucus to NJ101.5.
It does not appear their Secaucus location will have a liquor license. The KPot in Kearny is $28.99 per person for all you can eat and they will bring unlimited meats, seafood and vegetables for you to grill yourself, plus rice.

ALSO, there are rumors a Shake Shack will also open in that same area (Harmon Meadow), according to Gonnelli. However, he stressed he does not know any further details and Shake Shack has so far refused to confirm or deny they are coming to Secaucus.
There are three existing Shake Shacks in Hudson County: One currently open at Newport Mall, one in the works at 318 Grove Street in Downtown Jersey City and a third one now open on lower Washington Street (near the PATH) in Hoboken.
