SECAUCUS, NJ — A man died in a suicide Friday afternoon at a gun range in Secaucus.

This happened Friday afternoon at Long Shot gun range on County Avenue. The man shot himself in the head.

He was 29 years old and a resident of Yonkers, police said.

The man was alive when he was taken to Hackensack University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Emergency vehicles were seen at the gun range at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller confirmed a man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He said more information about this would not be released because the man was in a mental health crisis.
