Marra's Pharmacy Will Get Its Own Star In Sidewalk Next Wednesday
The Secaucus Rotary Club will honor the Marra family with a special plaque, which will be installed in the sidewalk outside Marra Drugs.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Next Wednesday, the Secaucus Rotary Club will honor Marra Drugs pharmacy, a family business that has been in operation for more than 100 years in Secaucus.
The Secaucus Rotary Club will honor the Marra family with a special plaque, which will be installed in the sidewalk outside Marra Drugs. The stone plaque was designed to resemble that of the Hollywood Walk of Fame stars.
This will be the first of its kind in Secaucus, and the Rotary Club plans to honor other deserving Secaucus residents and business owners in following years. The unveiling ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. Sept. 17 outside Marra Drugs, 1285 Paterson Plank Road. Light refreshments will be served.
