Meet Wolves And More: All The March Events At The Secaucus Library
Here's what's planned for kids and families this March at the town library:
SECAUCUS, NJ — From meeting live wolves at the library to Makers' Day weekend at the library March 15/16, here's what's planned for kids and families this March at the town library:
Barbie Party in honor of National Barbie Day at 6 p.m. Friday, March 8. Get dolled up in your best Barbie-pink attire to take photos, enjoy snacks and refreshments, make a craft, and listen to "Barbie: The Album". Then at 7:00, relax and enjoy a screening of the Academy Award nominated film "Barbie" (PG-13). Please register on their website: secaucuslibrary.org Adults, please write N/A as your age on the registration form. *Due to some mature language in the film, this program is intended for individuals ages 13 and up unless otherwise approved by a parent.
St. Patrick's Day party at the library: 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 13
This family-friendly event will offer live music, Irish dancing, crafts, light refreshments and more! Please register on their website at secaucuslibrary.org

Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16 at the Secaucus Library: NJ Makers Day Weekend. Save the dates! Friday afternoon and Saturday morning events for all ages will be announced shortly. Check the library Facebook page for more info. when they release it.
Tuesday, March 19 at 12 noon Celebrating Women Before, During and After the American Revolution. Join Joel Farkas at the main library as he highlights the contributions women made throughout early American history. Learn how over 25 women, broke the mold and proved men wrong during the American Revolution.

Tuesday, March 19 4-4:45 p.m. Howling Woods Farm Visit. Families with children ages 4 and up are invited to join us for an exciting program featuring Howling Woods Farm in Jackson Township, NJ. Enjoy a 30-minute presentation about wolves and then meet, greet, and take photos with REAL wolf dogs! Each attendee and family member must register here: https://bccls.libcal.com/event... Children's Programs at the Annex
Mondays. 6pm-6:30pm. Pajama Story Time with Miss Gina. Join Miss Gina for a story time and take home craft. Pajamas welcome! Ages 5-8. Parents must be present.
Saturdays. 10:30am and 12:30pm (Two sessions) Musical Tots. Ages 6 mo. - 2 yrs old are invited to the Katherine Steffens Library Annex to sing, dance, shake eggs, and wave scarves to music. Parent must be beside child and wear shoes! Registration is required.
Saturdays. 11:30am. Saturday Story Time. Ages 3-6 may join Miss Gina at the library annex for scarves, music, movement, games, and a story - registration is not required, parent must stay present.
Wednesday, March 20 1pm-1:30pm. Drop In Story Time. Children ages 3-5 can hear a story and take a tour of our Children's Room.
Wednesday, March 20 6pm. DIY Clay Planters for Tweens. Join us at the Katherine Steffens Annex for a tween craft night including a story in honor of Women's History Month. AGES 8-12. Registration required.
Tuesday, March 26 6pm-7pm. Holi Celebration for Kids at the Annex. Children ages 4-8 are invited to attend a Holi celebration program. Join us for a Holi story, craft, and learn some fun Holi dance moves. Led by Bhavna Bhadouriya.
