Meet WWE Stars This Weekend At American Dream

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — American Dream will host what it calls a "WWE SummerSlam Takeover" this weekend, where fans can meet WWE wrestlers at the mall.

Current and former wrestlers that will be there include Bret Hart, Charlotte Flair, Kurt Angle, Nikki Bella and the Undertaker. It will be held at the Rink inside the mall.

They will also be selling official exclusive merchandise and card breaks.

The wrestlers will be at the ice rink, but there will be a SummerSlam Superstore on the mall's second floor, by Five Guys. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. this Friday and Saturday, Aug. 1 and 2, and Fri and 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday. The store will have exclusive merchandise, including replica championship titles, Superstar apparel, signed memorabilia, collectibles, mini-titles and more.

There will also be paid opportunities throughout the weekend for fans to take photos and get autographs from various wrestlers.

And on Friday, from 12:30 - 2 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. come to the Dream main stage for a chance to win exclusive WWE collectibles and autographed memorabilia through live auctions, breaks and giveaways.

An American Dream spokesman teased that some big NFL names will be at the mall this autumn; stay tuned.

"Fresh off the soccer world taking over, we’re excited to see wrestling do the same — with football up next," said spokesman Gregg Schwartz. "American Dream continues to reinvent how brands in sports and entertainment engage with fans through one-of-a-kind experiences."
