Photos From Marra's Drugstore Star Unveiling

The star was presented by the Rotary Club of Secaucus.

SECAUCUS, NJ — On Sept. 17, a star commemorating more than 100 years in business was unveiled in front of Marra's Pharmacy.

The star was presented by the Rotary Club of Secaucus. The star is now in the sidewalk in front of the pharmacy.

The star was given to recognize the pharmacy for serving the town and people of Secaucus for the past 100 years. Marra's Drugstore was founded in 1923 by the late Gerard Marra Sr., the first-generation son of Italian immigrants. Marra, Sr. became so well-known in town he had the nickname "Mr. Secaucus."

Marra's is still entirely owned by the Marra family today.
