Alert: Torrential downpours can bring a quick inch or more of rainfall, resulting in poor drainage/roadway flooding. Excessive Heat
"The heat and high humidity will clash with an approaching front, sparking off thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon into the evening. High rainfall rates will be the main concern as a quick inch or more of rain will be able to easily overwhelm drains, leading to poor drainage/roadway flooding. Also, a few storms can be severe with strong winds.

The front does not entirely clear our area Tuesday night, and there will be additional showers or simply a period of rain to contend with Wednesday morning. Things improve late morning into midday Wednesday, even if a much shorter-lived and more isolated pop-up storm threat can return. Thursday will be mostly dry, with just a minimal PM pop-up risk of thunderstorms. Friday is great for the Fourth of July, with a nice high pressure front holding on through the weekend."
