Secaucus Got Soaked: Rain Totals For Town And Hudson County
A flood warning is still in effect until 11 a.m. Friday after 1 to 2 inches of rain fell across the region.
SECAUcUS, NJ — The National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Hudson, Essex, Union, Passaic, and Bergen counties Thursday as more than an inch of rain fell across the region and caused local waterways to swell. The warning continued until 11 a.m. Friday.
Here were the rain totals for different parts of Hudson County, according to National Weather Service spotters:
- Jersey City, 1.44 in., 2:45 a.m.
- Jersey City, 1.33 in., 2:45 a.m.
- Jersey City, 1.02 in., 2:45 a.m.
- Harrison, 1.29 in., 10:35 p.m.
- Hoboken, 1.18 in., 2:36 a.m.
- Hoboken, .98 in, 2:45 a.m.
- Secaucus, 0.98 in., 2:45 a.m.
- Bayonne, 0.73 in., 2:45 a.m.
Rain totals were not as high as the 7 inches or more that fell in North Jersey quickly during Tropical Depression Ida, but still a significant rainfall.
