The other driver said Estupinan cut him off as both pulled in to park. The other driver said he approached Estupinan's car and asked, “What the hell?” and an argument between the two then broke out.
The other driver alleges Estupinan got out of his car and said he wanted to fight. The other driver then left the scene and drove to Hagan Place, but Estupinan followed him, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

It was in the area of Hagan Place that police say Estupinan struck the other driver multiple times with a closed fist, threw him to the ground and grabbed him by the hair, pulling some of his hair out.
A Secaucus resident came out of a nearby house and hit Estupinan several times in the head in an attempt to stop the attack, Miller said. After he was hit multiple times, police say Estupinan fled the scene. Estupinan was issued a complaint summons to appear in court and was released from police custody last Tuesday.
