Secaucus Opens Town Cooling Centers
Forecasters are predicting "dangerously hot conditions," with heat index values around 105 on Wednesday and 110 on Thursday.
SECAUCUS, NJ — Secaucus will open two cooling centers this week due to the extreme heat: The Secaucus Public Library on Paterson Plank Road and the Recreation Center on Koelle Boulevard.
Any resident is welcome to go there all day Wednesday and Thursday if they need to cool off.
The Secaucus town pool is open and free for all town residents. Must show ID. You pay per guest.

The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for most of New Jersey; it is in effect through Thursday night.
