A Delaware woman was arrested Aug. 12 at the Red Roof Inn for having a stolen license plate.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all the arrests from last week in town:
On Aug. 11 at 2:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $600. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 11 at 9:13 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 35-year-old man of Ridgefield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $7,500 with a 10% option. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of New Brunswick, NJ in the amount of $1,500. He was unable to post bail for both warrants and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Aug. 11 at 4:49 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old man of Newark for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $1,000 along with 1 additional warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $20. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant issued out of Passaic. He was released on the other warrant from Passaic and the outstanding warrant issued out of Newark.
On Aug. 12 at 3:15 p.m., in relation to an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to a theft of a trailer and container that occurred on 10/01/2024 at 560 Jefferson Avenue, police arrested a 47 year- old-man, Luis Espinal of Camden, NJ for Theft of a Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.1A] and Theft [2C:20-3A]. Espinal was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 12 at 6:04 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a disabled car on the Rt. 3 east ramp from Meadowlands Parkway. Police arrested a 43-year-old man of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,500. Garfield released him on his own recognizance pending a future court date.
On Aug. 12 at 6:46 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle parked in the area of the Red Roof Inn on Meadowlands Parkway that contained a license plate reported stolen out of Pennsylvania. Police arrested a 43-year-old woman, Alexis Knox of Dover, DE for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20 7A]. She was issued a complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 13 at 12:50 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Middlesex County Jail to take into custody a 32-year-old man of Perth Amboy, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus for $750 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark for $600 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Aug. 14 at 6:55 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department about a motor vehicle that occurred on 4th Street on Aug. 9, the police responded to the Essex County Superior Court and arrested an 18-year-old man, Hakim White of Newark, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)], Theft of a Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2A], Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(1)] and Eluding [2C:29-2B]. He was issued his complaint warrant and taken back to the jail.
On Aug. 15 at 5:22 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, the Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old man of Stony Point, NY for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office with no bail. He was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Aug. 15 at 3:10 p.m. Secaucus Police responded to Burlington Coat Factory on Mill Creek Drive on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 33-year-old man of Paterson, NJ along with a 32-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The first was taken to the county jail; the second released on a summons.
On Aug. 15 at 9:09 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Best Western Plus located at 250 Harmon Meadow Boulevard and arrested a 34-year-old man, Darwin Urgiles of North Bergen, NJ for Enticing a Child [2C:13-6A]. Urgiles was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. (This is another incident of online vigilantes luring men to meet in Secaucus for sex trysts with fictional underage girls. He intended to meet a juvenile female, however no child existed.)
On Aug. 16 at 11:16 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 41-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
