SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Aug. 18 at 9:14 a.m., Secaucus Police observed an individual cross a street while not using the designated marked crosswalk. Police arrested a 42-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $1,000, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $750, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paterson, NJ in the amount of $500. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants. Paterson Police officers responded to Secaucus Police headquarters and took custody of the man for transport back to their agency.

On Aug. 19 at 8:17 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodland Park, NJ in the amount of $750. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 19 at 2:47 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the parking lot at UPS located at 493 County Avenue on a report of an individual sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and appeared to be asleep. Police arrested a 47-year-old man, Jose Ponce-Mayorquin of Hackensack, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Ponce-Mayorquin was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Ponce-Mayorquin was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 21 at 12:08 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to County Avenue and Paterson Plank Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 46-year-old man of Wyckoff, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued 9 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 22 at 12:07 p.m., police arrested a 53-year-old man of Weehawken, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters and was transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office.

On Aug. 22 at 7:03 p.m. Secaucus Police responded to the area of New County Road and Seaview Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash. The one vehicle involved in the crash had fled the scene and was subsequently located at 100 Seaview Drive. During the investigation, police arrested a 49-year-old man of Selden, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 23 at 3:39 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Police arrested a 41-year-old man of Irvington, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was also charged with Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2B] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. He was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses along with a complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Aug. 23 at 10:13 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Marlboro, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Cruz was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
