On Aug. 25 at 7:57 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bernards Township, NJ in the amount of $1,000 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250. Both Bernards Township and Newark released him on his own recognizance pending future court dates. He was issued four motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 26 at 1:01 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Valley Court on a report of an individual being assaulted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60-year-old man, Angelo Distazio of Nutley, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(2)], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], for utilizing a knife during the assault. Distazio was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montclair, NJ in the amount of $1,500. The Montclair Police Department did recall the outstanding warrant that was issued out of their agency. Distazio was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 26 at 11:00 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an assault that occurred during a road rage incident on Aug. 6 in the area of Hagan Place, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Christian Estupinan of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)]. Estupinan was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On Aug. 28 at 8:35 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a fraudulent use of a credit card that occurred on 06/23/2025, the police responded to Elizabeth, NJ and arrested a 22-year-old male, Carlos Llerena Bustamante of Elizabeth, NJ for Unlawful Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. Llerena Bustamante was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Aug. 28 at 1:35 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card that occurred on 03/04/2025 at Marshall’s located at 400 Park Plaza Drive, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Christopher Greco of Secaucus, NJ for Unlawful Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. Greco was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 28 at 4:02 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the 300 block of Clarendon Street on knowledge that an individual at that location had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Police arrested a 46-year-old man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ with no bail. He was transported to the Union City Police Department.
On Aug. 29 at 10:02 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old man, Deeon Walker of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Walker was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Walker was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released into the custody of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.
On Aug. 29 at 12:46 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old man of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mount Laurel, NJ in the amount of $750 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood park, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500. He was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Mount Laurel, NJ and Elmwood Park, NJ. He was released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ, pending a future court date. He was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 29 at 10:01 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department to take into custody a 58-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Aug. 30 at 1:33 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 45-year-old woman of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Aug. 30 at 2:38 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 29-year-old woman of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $2,500. She was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Aug. 30 at 11:44 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an unruly guest. Police arrested a 20-year-old man, Michael Cutler of Waco, GA for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Cutler was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
