There were multiple drunk driving arrest in Secaucus last week:
SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Dec. 16 at 1:11 a.m. during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 45-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Dec. 16 at 12:33 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37-year-old male of Wyckoff, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hawthorne, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. He was able to post bail for the outstanding warrant. He was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and he was released from police custody.

On Dec. 17 at 4:43 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
On Dec. 18 at 9:17 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old female of Brooklyn, NY for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] and Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Dec. 19 at 1:21 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Maple Street and Paterson Plank Road on a report of a vehicle stopped at a traffic light in which the driver of the vehicle appeared to be asleep in the driver’s seat. Police arrested a 50-year-old male of Little Falls, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 4 additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Dec. 20 at 1:10 a.m. Secaucus Police observed a suspicious motor vehicle parked in the area of the Olive Garden located at 500 Rt. 3 West. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old male of Smithfield, NC for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2A]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 20 at 8:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male of Union City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
On Dec. 20 at 3:13 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 25-year-old female of New York, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Hillside Police released her on her own recognizance pending a future court date and she was released from police custody.
On Dec. 22 at 3:36 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Hagan Place and Schopmann Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash. Police arrested a 50-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On Dec. 22 at 3:26 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 29-year-old female of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Edison, NJ in the amount of $750 along with 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $300 for each warrant. Ms. Meyers was also charged with Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Both the Newark Police Department and the Edison Police Department released her on her own recognizance pending future court dates in relation to the outstanding warrants. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 22 at 3:36 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 21-year-old male of Irvington, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Dec. 22 at 10:45 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 26-year-old female of Manhattan, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
