SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests (Patch now only publishes the names of people accused of serious crimes):

On March 10 at 12:03 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old male of Cliffside Park, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Edgewater, NJ in the amount of $550 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 10 at 10:41 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 33-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bridgewater, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500. Union City and Secaucus PD did release him on his own recognizance pending future court dates. He was able to post bail for the warrant issued out of Bridgewater. He was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 10 at 10:59 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office to take into custody a 26-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $1,500. He was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On March 10 at 4:51 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male of Brooklyn, NY for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for possessing a stolen license plate. He was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 11 at 8:54 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 30 Enterprise Avenue due to information that an individual at that location had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male of Lodi, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ with no bail along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Garfield Police Department with no bail. Officers from the Garfield Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of him for transport back to their authority.

On March 12 at 2:32 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Harrison Police Department to take into custody a 44-year-old male of Newark for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $2,000 with a 10% option. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City in the amount of $1,000, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Guttenberg in the amount of $550, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen in the amount of $500 and 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Newark in the amount of $300. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On March 12 at 3:03 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old male of Newark for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On March 13 at 1:06 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 49-year-old female of Secaucus for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. She was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters. The Hoboken Police Department released her on her own recognizance pending a future court date, and she was released from police custody.

On March 15 at 12:59 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested an 18-year-old male of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $750. Passaic Police did release him on his own recognizance pending a future court date. He was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 15 at 3:14 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Extended Stay located at 1 Plaza Drive on a report of a verbal dispute. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27-year-old male of Oklahoma City, OK for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 16 at 7:23 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 51-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], specifically a baseball bat. He was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
