Secaucus Hospital Will Become Teaching Hospital, Renamed Secaucus University Hospital
Med school students from New York Medical College will start training there in the 2026-'27 school year.

SECAUCUS, NJ — The town hospital in Secaucus renamed itself Secaucus University Hospital, and the hospital says it will become a teaching hospital.
Hudson Regional Health System, under the leadership of CEO Dr. Nizar Kifaieh and chairman Yan Moshe, partnered with New York Medical College (NYMC), a medical college located in Valhalla, in Westchester County, New York.
In 2026, students from New York Medical College will start training and doing internships at all four hospitals in the Hudson Regional Health system: Bayonne University Hospital, Hoboken University Hospital, Secaucus University Hospital and Heights University Hospital in Jersey City, which Hudson Regional Health closed this fall. Only a standalone ER, labs and imaging center remain there.
