SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On March 24 at 11:59 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $5,000 and 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. He was also charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)] and Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. The police also arrested a 61-year-old male of Jersey City, NJ for Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A]. The older man was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody. The younger was issued his complaint summons and 1 motor vehicle summons and was transported to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, due to the outstanding warrant with no bail.

On March 24 at 1:46 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division, the police arrested a 29-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Sexual Contact [2C:14-3A] and Endangering the Welfare of a Child [2C:24-4A(1)]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 24 at 5:30 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a motor vehicle theft that occurred on Brianna Way on Oct. 12, 2023, police arrested an 18-year-old male, Hakeem Grant of Jersey City, NJ along with a 19-year-old male, Ethan Baez of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Both Grant and Baez were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On March 26 at 9:23 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male of Bayonne, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $1,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued three motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 26 at 11:32 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to Sam’s Club for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 48-year-old male of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus for $600. He was released on his own recognizance pending a future court date.

On March 26 at 11:27 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department in relation to an incident of forgery that occurred at Walmart on 02/26/2025 where the actor attempted to use counterfeit currency for a purchase, the police responded to Lambertville, NJ and arrested a 44-year-old male of Trenton, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Conspiracy to commit Forgery [2C:5-2A(1)]. He was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Vorhees, NJ in the amount of $250. He was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On March 27 at 2:08 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Bagel Buffet located at 127 Plaza Centre on a report of a possible fight in progress. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year-old female of Hillside, NJ for Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)]. She was issued her complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle parking summons and was released from police custody.

On March 30 at 7:12 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the area of Paterson Plank Road ramp and the Rt. 3 west service road with a flat tire. The operator of the motor vehicle also appeared to be asleep in the driver’s seat of the motor vehicle. Police arrested a 24-year-old male of Union City, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
