Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests (Patch now only publishes the names of people accused of serious crimes):

On March 6 at 7:04 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 54-year-old male of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:29-1(A)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-2A(3)(A)], Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. He was issued his complaint warrant and was transported to the Hudson County jail.

On March 7 at 2:54 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 39-year-old male of Hoboken, NJ along with a 42-year-old male of New York, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The Hoboken man was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $1,500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $2,500 with a 10% option. The Hoboken man was transported to the Hudson County jail; the other was issued his complaint warrant and released.

On March 7 at 5:24 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 51-year-old male of Linden, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elizabeth, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option. He was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters; was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On March 8 at 3:42 a.m., Secaucus Police performed a well-being check on a man in the area of Paterson Plank Road and Post Place. During the investigation, police arrested a 27-year-old male, Ahmad Hamdeh of Paterson, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Heroin [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2A]. Mr. Hamdeh was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 8 at 11:47 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 23-year-old male of Amityville, NY for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(2)]. He was issued his complaint summons along with five motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On March 9 at 7:54 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a man cross the street in the area of 1 Meadowlands Parkway. He was observed crossing outside of the designated crosswalk area. Police stopped him, questioned him and arrested the 49-year-old male of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Easton, Northampton County, PA with no bail along with two outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $250 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hoboken, NJ in the amount of $6,500 with a 10% option. He was also charged with Possession of CDS believed to be GHB [2C:35-10.2A] and Being a Fugitive from Justice [2A:160-10]. He was issued his complaint warrants along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
