SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On Oct. 22 at 11:37 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 29-year-old man of North Brunswick, NJ for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(3)]. He was issued his complaint summons along with 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On Oct. 22 at 5:35 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 19-year-old male, Anthony McGeachy of Jersey City, NJ along with a 23-year-old female, Keyasia Mccollum of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2]. Mr. McGeachy was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. McGeachy was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ with no bail along with 2 outstanding NCIC warrants issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. McGeachy was issued 3 motor vehicle summons along with his complaint warrant. Ms. Mccollum was also issued her complaint warrant. Both Mr. McGeachy and Ms. Mccollum were transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 23 at 12:05 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Edison Park Fast located at 675 New County Road on a report of an individual refusing to leave the premises. During the investigation, the police arrested a 36-year-old man of Ocean Township, NJ for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released.
On Oct. 23 at 4:58 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36-year-old man of East Rutherford, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of East Rutherford, NJ with no bail. Officers from the East Rutherford Police responded and took custody.

On Oct. 24 at 4:23 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Morris County Jail to take into custody a 48-year-old man of Irvington, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $6,000 with a 10% option and $1,000.00 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Oct. 24 at 8:46 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Meadowlands Parkway and Wood Avenue on a report of a man threatened and assaulted by three individuals. Police responded to the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel located at 40 Wood Avenue and arrested a 24-year-old man, Robert Chambers of Dixon, MO along with a 19-year-old man, Kenneth Bair of Johnstown, PA and a 22-year-old man, Bryce Montes of Clovis, CA for Robbery [2C:15-1A(1)], Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)] and Conspiracy to commit Robbery [2C:5-2A(1)]. Police say the two men stole the victim’s beer. All three were staying at the Meadowlands Plaza hotel. All three men were issued warrants to appear in court, and taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Oct. 24 at 9:56 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office to take into custody a 22-year-old man of Passaic, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $3,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail and was released.
On Oct. 26 at 2:25 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Park Plaza Drive and Plaza Drive on a report of a man on the property refusing to leave. Police arrested a 43-year-old man of New York, NY for Defiant Trespassing [2C:18-3B]. He was issued a Special Complaint Summons and was released.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
