On Sept. 23 at 1:45 p.m., Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old woman of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mansfield, NJ in the amount of $1,750. She was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters and was released on her own recognizance by Mansfield Police Department pending a future court date.
On Sept. 23 at 6:10 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart for a report of an employee theft and shoplifting. Police arrested a 55-year-old woman of Kearny, NJ for 2 counts of Shoplifting [2C:2011B(1)], 1 count of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and 4 counts of Theft [2C:20-3A]. She was issued five complaint summonses due to the shoplifting and theft occurring on five separate instances. She was subsequently released from police custody.

On Sept. 24 at 12:01 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a bicyclist disregard a red traffic signal at the intersection of Plaza Centre Road and Paterson Plank Road. The bicyclist was stopped by police and during the investigation, police arrested a 48-year-old male man of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,500. The NCIC warrant was subsequently recalled and cleared from the system by the Hudson County Sheriff. He was also released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On Sept. 24 at 7:13 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Central Municipal Court Bergen County in the amount of $750. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.

On Sept. 24 at 11:20 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a shoplifting that occurred at Home Depot on 12/17/2024, police arrested a 25-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. He was found to be previously incarcerated at the Bergen County jail. Police went to the Bergen County Jail to process him and he remained in custody at the Bergen County Jail.
On Sept. 24 at 4:14 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Osprey Cove East located at 45 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a verbal dispute between a patron and an Uber Eats driver. The female Uber Eats driver left the area prior to police arrival and was located by the police in the area of 9th Street and Flanagan Way. She failed to stop for the police while riding her bicycle after numerous instructions to do so. She subsequently entered the TD Bank located at 1262 Paterson Plank Road in an attempt to elude the police further. The woman also struck the pursuing officer in the head with a bike lock. The police subsequently arrested a 23-year-old woman, Jahil Rust of the Bronx, NY for Aggravated Assault against a Law Enforcement Officer [2C:12-1B(1)], Obstructing the Administration of Law [2C:29-1A], Resisting Arrest by Flight [2C:29-2A(2)], Resisting Arrest by Force [2C:29-2A(3)], Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D], 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon [2C:12-1B(2)], Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] and Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)]. Rust was issued her complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 25 at 3:56 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old man of Garfield, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000. He was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A] for possessing a license plate on his vehicle that was reported stolen. He was able to post bail for the warrant, was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
On Sept. 25 at 9:15 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Port Authority Police Department to take into custody a 36-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $700 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for both warrants and was subsequently released from police custody.
On Sept. 26 at 12:24 a.m., a woman entered Secaucus Police headquarters to speak to police. She began cursing at officers and after speaking on the dispatch phone in the police lobby, violently slammed the phone into the receiver three three times in an attempt to damage the phone. The woman, 48, of Secaucus, NJ was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct [2C:33-2A(2)]. She was issued a complaint summons and released from police custody.
On Sept. 26 at 3:43 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old man of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Fairfield, NJ with no bail. Fairfield Police took custody of the man.
On Sept. 26 at 5:11 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 40-year-old man of Clifton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the warrant and was taken to the Hudson County Jail.
On Sept. 26 at 8:30 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Newton Township Police Department to take into custody a 26-year-old man of Branchville, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail for the warrant and was taken to the county jail.
On Sept. 27 at 2:27 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the intersection of Paterson Plank Road and Park Plaza Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 63-year-old man, Marco Moya of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4--50]. He was also charged with Assault by Auto [2C:12-1C(2)]. Moya was issued his complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
