EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — American Dream will host a Tamagotchi celebration March 29 and 30 at the mall.

Tamagotchi is a virtual pet invented in Japan.

Fans of all ages will step into a world of fun and creativity, with an array of experiences that bring the devices to life. Visitors to the Tamagotchi Spring Celebration can expect a variety of immersive experiences, including:

  • A mall-wide scavenger hunt – Guests will follow a custom scavenger hunt map around the mall, collecting stickers and surprises along the way.
  • Themed Portrait Studio – Fans can step into a Spring Tamagotchi-inspired photo station and snap a picture with fan favorite character Mametchi for a special keepsake.
  • Cotton Candy– A sweet treat with a Tamagotchi twist. Guests can enjoy cotton candy shaped like your favorite Tamagotchi characters.
  • Express Yourself Station – A vibrant stop for self-expression, where visitors can get Tamagotchi nail art, face painting and temporary tattoos
  • Tamagotchi Market – A dedicated space selling must-have Tamagotchi items, while also directing guests to the Bandai store at American Dream for even more Tamagotchi finds.

This promises to be a very special fan event inside the second largest mall in America.

The Tamagotchi Spring Celebration at the American Dream will be open March 29, 30 from 12 noon - 5 p.m. in courts B and C, level 1, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the playful and interactive world of Tamagotchi.
