Tommy DeVito Stops Into Natoli's Deli In Secaucus
DeVito popped into the deli Jan. 19, where he ordered the pasta fagioli soup and chicken cutlet with arugula, fresh mozzarella and balsamic.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Everybody in Secaucus loves Natoli's. And so does Tommy DeVito, who stopped into Natoli's two weeks ago, on Jan. 19.
Natoli's posted the above photo on their Facebook account, of DeVito with deli owner Steve Natoli and staff.
"The season was over, and he just wanted to stop by and thank us for the sandwiches," said Natoli of the visit. "And we thanked him for all the publicity we received because of it."

You might not know it, but Natoli's caters NY Giants football practice, and — after hearing that he likes chicken cutlets — Steve Natoli sent DeVito a chicken parm sub with vodka sauce to enjoy after practice last fall; see photos of the young quarterback about to dig in: https://publish.twitter.com/?q...
That sandwich is now named after him; look for the "Tommy DeVito special" on the menu.

"He was just a perfect gentleman," continued Natoli of the Jan. 19 visit. "He was well-mannered, a super-likeable person. He was headed into the city and he just wanted to stop by and thank us (for the catering). He's a super likeable person, a really good young man and a great football player. I hope he's on the team next year."
On his way out the door, DeVito got the Natoli's pasta fagioli soup (pasta and beans) and a sandwich to go; it was not the chicken parm that bears his name but rather it was Natoli's chicken cutlet with arugula, fresh mozzarella and balsamic glaze.
DeVito was the rookie quarterback for the New York Giants this past season, and he is about as local to North Jersey as it gets: He graduated from Don Bosco Prep and lives with his mom and dad in Cedar Grove. He just got his hair cut this past weekend at YK Salon in Cedar Grove, the salon posted on Instagram.
"He's Italian, he's from North Jersey. He went to the same high school as my son, Don Bosco. We're all really rooting for him," Natoli told Patch last fall.
While DeVito is no longer the Big Blue quarterback, he is working on plans to put his trademark nicknames “Tommy Cutlets” and “Passing Paisano" on chicken cutlets, meatballs, pasta, pizza, red sauce, energy drinks and bobblehead dolls, the NY Post reported.
