Vets Eat Free At These Secaucus-Area Restaurants Tuesday

SECAUCUS, NJ — Veterans' Day is Nov. 11 and the Secaucus Knights of Columbus will hold their annual special breakfast for veterans this Sunday, Nov. 9.

The breakfast will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Immaculate Conception Church. It is $10 admission, children under 12 are $7. Veterans are free.

They will serve a full breakfast and salute our nation's veterans and thank them for their service.

Also, vets eat free next Tuesday at these restaurants around Secaucus:

• Shannon Rose in Clifton and Ramsey: Vets eat free off a special Veteran’s Day menu on Nov. 11.
• Chevy’s: Vets eat free off a special Veteran’s Day menu on Nov. 11.
• Spuntino: Vets eat free up to $30 on Nov. 11.
• Doherty-owned Applebee’s (the one in Clifton): Vets eat free off a special Veteran's Day menu on Nov. 11. They will also be offering guests the opportunity to buy a veteran a beer. Customers who pre-purchase a beer by Nov. 10 will receive a coaster to write a special "thank you" message to a veteran.

The coaster with the free beer will be handed out to the vets on November 11.
