• Shamong voters reject $25 million bond referendum; Mantua question too close to call (inquirer.com) — Shamong voters have decisively rejected a $25 million school bond referendum, avoiding an estimated $408 yearly property tax increase on an average home while leaving needed repairs at Indian Mills schools unfunded for now. Mayor Michael Di Croce, who opposed the measure, praised the result, and district leaders must now decide how to address critical roofing and HVAC projects without the proposed bond money.
