2 Killed In 2 Different South Brunswick Crashes Tuesday Morning
There were actually two people killed in two different car accidents Tuesday morning, the first on Rt. 535 and the second on Rt. 1 north:
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — There were actually two people killed in two different car accidents Tuesday morning in South Brunswick Township, police confirmed to Patch.
The first fatal crash happened at 5:56 a.m. on Rt. 535 at Stults Road, according to South Brunswick Deputy Police Chief James Ryan. One car headed southbound on Rt. 535 rolled over and struck a utility pole, killing its driver, a 65-year-old man from South River.
His identity is being withheld until notification is made to his family.

The second fatal crash happened just over an hour later, when a car collided with a motorcycle on Rt. 1 near Major Road. That happened at 7:30 a.m.
The man driving the motorcycle, a 38-year-old man from Linwood, Pennsylvania, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the operator of the motorcycle was driving on the shoulder of Rt. 1 north and was struck by a Chevy Malibu that was attempting to merge onto the Major Road off-ramp.
Rt. 1 north was heavily delayed Tuesday morning, and Rt. 535 had delays as well.
