2024 Primary Election: Grover, Jafar, Germain Lead In South Brunswick

The polls have closed. Here are the results for the contested Democratic Council primary in South Brunswick:

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The primary elections are today, and voters across South Brunswick have cast their ballots. Polls have now closed statewide.

South Brunswick voters will get to cast ballots for members of the council.

Ann Grover, Noor Jafar, Patricia Germain and Magesh Kamalakannan are seeking the Democratic nomination.

Grover, Jafar and Germain have been endorsed by the Middlesex County Democratic Organization. Joe Camarota and Jo Hochman are not seeking reelection.

Here are the unofficial results:

  • Ann Grover: 2,273
  • Noor Jafar: 2,065
  • Patricia Germain: 2,358
  • Magesh Kamalakannan: 772

Running on the GOP ticket for Council are Michael J. Havardansky, Brian Wojaczyk and Steven R. Simon. Republican candidates are unopposed.

The official results of the 2024 Primary Election shall be certified by the County Board of Canvassers on or before June 17, officials said.
