Annual Water Main Flushing Begins In South Brunswick
The flushing will continue for the next 8 weeks, officials said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Beginning Monday, the South Brunswick Water Division will conduct water main flushing between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily. This program is expected to take approximately eight weeks to complete.
Flushing will not occur in the Kingston area served by New Jersey American Water Company.
During flushing operations, water may temporarily appear discolored. While this does not affect water safety or quality, we recommend minimizing water use during the scheduled hours. If discoloration occurs, simply run cold water taps until the water runs clear.
