Another South Brunswick Vet To Be Honored With Street Sign Dedication

The township will dedicate a street sign to honor local Veteran Louis Balestrieri, Sr.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - A South Brunswick veteran will be honored by the township with a street sign.

On Saturday, South Brunswick will hold a Veteran Street Sign Dedication Ceremony at the intersection of Eastern Drive and Freida Lane in Kendall Park to honor local Veteran Louis Balestrieri, Sr.

This is the Township’s most recent dedication recognizing local veterans for their military service.

Balestrieri Sr. enlisted into the US Air Force in 1966. He served as a Sergeant in the 29th attack squadron in the Philippines.

Balestrieri served until his Honorable discharge in August, 1972, with outstanding leadership and courage, receiving the National Defense Service Medal, (NDSM) and the Armed Forces Medal 900–3 (Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal).
