The Bagel Basket Has A New Store In South Brunswick

The store recently unveiled a brand-new look and menu at its new address.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Popular bagel store, The Bagel Basket, has moved to a new address in the township and recently celebrated a grand opening.

A township fixture since 2000, the store unveiled a brand-new look and menu at its new address at 4095 US-1, Monmouth Junction.

“We've been in this community for over 20 years,” said Yatin Patel, co-owner. “We just moved from Suite No. 29 to Suite No. 4.” Patel said the business will continue to support the local community and organizations like the Viking Schools Band.

Mayor Charlie Carley and Council members attended the ribbon cutting on Tuesday. The new store is around 2,200 square feet and includes seating for 30 people.

The new menu features classics like bagels with cream cheese, lox spread, scallion cream cheese, and more. It also includes new breakfast and lunch sandwiches and pancakes, French toast, gyro, and quesadillas.

The Bagel Basket is open 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
