South Brunswick Calls Off Saturday Car Seat Safety Clinic Over Bad Weather

Rain is expected to start Friday and could continue through the weekend.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - The car seat safety clinic, which was scheduled for Saturday in South Brunswick, is now canceled due to impending inclement weather.

According to the National Weather Service, the first weekend of May is looking stormy and wet.

A stretch of rainy weather is likely to begin Friday and may stick around through the weekend—possibly even into early next week, forecasters say.

The South Brunswick Police Department is hosting car seat safety clinics this May. The events are part of the 2025 Middlesex County Sheriff’s Car Seat Inspection Program Municipal Outreach.

The initiative promotes child passenger safety through free car seat inspections and installations by certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians.
