Chipotle Now Open Off Rt. 1 In North Brunswick
A Chipotle just opened at the MainStreet North Brunswick complex. A Shake Shack opened there in January. No new movement on train station.
NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A Chipotle is now open in the MainStreet North Brunswick shopping complex (2300 Rt. 1).
The Chipotle just opened in the past several weeks. This is a new, 2,600-square-foot restaurant that has their “Chipotlane,” a digital order-ahead pickup window.
A Shake Shack just opened in that same Garden Commercial-owned complex in January, and has a double drive-thru lane. Anchored by Costco and Target, there is also a Panera Bread and The Greene Turtle Sports bar and grill.

This is the former 212-acre former Johnson & Johnson North Brunswick campus.
For years now, NJTransit has floated opening a train station there, but there has no forward movement on that recently.

A Courtyard by Marriott opened there in 2019; there is also office space on site. There are 242 luxury rental apartments and duplexes currently under construction by Garden Communities, as well as 158 town homes for sale, developed by Pulte Homes.
