SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — A crash on Route 1 in South Brunswick is causing significant traffic delays, officials said.

A dump truck has overturned on Route 1 at the intersection of Route 522.

The gravel in the truck has spilled onto the highway and two lanes southbound and one lane northbound are closed, police said.

South Brunswick Police are on the scene and no injuries were reported.

Authorities have asked motorists to avoid the area for the next two hours.
