E.A.R.T.H. Center In South Brunswick To Host Garden, Arts, Music Fest

A food and ice cream truck will be available onsite.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County will host its annual E.A.R.T.H. Center Garden, Arts, and Music Festival on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the E.A.R.T.H. Center, Davidson’s Mill Pond Park.

Attendees can enjoy various family-friendly activities like live art displays, local music acts, and activities for kids like “The Recycling Magician” and a “Paint a Pot” activity.

A Food and Ice Cream truck will be available onsite. Carried-in picnic lunches are also allowed.

Visitors can learn more about the Rows for the Hungry Project, which has donated nearly 30 tons of fresh, quality produce to local food banks in Middlesex County.

The Arts Institute of Middlesex County will also offer a Share Your Foodways kitchen demonstration.

Attendees can bring a non-perishable item to be donated to the food bank, REPLENISH, and the best homegrown item from their garden to enter the Greatest of the Garden contest.

The E.A.R.T.H. Center is the headquarters for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Middlesex County, which offers programs such as the Master Gardeners Environmental Stewardship program, 4-H Youth Development clubs and federally funded nutrition classes for limited resource families.
