Fall 2023 Leaf Collection Schedule Released In South Brunswick

Collection crews will be in each of the four areas three times during the leaf season.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Fall is here and leaves will cover yards in the township.

On Thursday, South Brunswick released the 2023 schedule for leave collection. The Township expects to have leaf crews in each of the four collection areas three times during the leaf season.

Residents must rake the leaves by 7:30 a.m. the first date in the collection round for pick up. By law, leaves should not be put out more than seven days before the scheduled pick-up and cannot be placed within 10 feet of a catch basin.

Residents should rake the leaves to the curb, and not into the street. Leaves must be placed no further than 10 feet from the road's edge.

Bags, rocks, litter or brush will not be collected with the leaves.

Area 1
Between Route 27 and Route 1 & between Kingston and New Road

  • Round 1: 10/23, 10/24, 10/25
  • Round 2: 11/9, 11/13, 11/14, 11/15
  • Round 3: 12/7, 12/8, 12/11

Area 2
Between Route 27 and Route 1 & between New Road and Beekman Road

  • Round 1: 10/26, 10/27, 10/30
  • Round 2: 11/16, 11/17, 11/20, 11/21
  • Round 3: 12/12, 12/13, 12/14

Area 3
Between Route 27 and Route 1 & between Beekman Road & Finnegans Lane

  • Round 1: 10/31, 11/1, 11/2
  • Round 2: 11/27, 11/28, 11/29, 11/30
  • Round 3: 12/15, 12/16, 12/19

Area 4
East of Route 1

  • Round 1: 11/3, 11/6, 11/8
  • Round 2: 12/1, 12/4, 12/5, 12/6
  • Round 3: 12/20, 12/21, 12/22
