Update: South Brunswick Roads Closed Due To Flooding Now Open
Overnight rains caused flash flooding in various parts of the Township.

(All roads have been reopened and are currently passable)
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Heavy overnight rains have caused a portion of Route 1 and other roads in South Brunswick to be closed Monday morning, authorities said.

As of 11:45 a.m., the following roads are closed due to flooding or have been affected:
- ROUTE 1 SOUTH AT PROMENADE BOULEVARD: All traffic is being diverted off the highway towards Route 27
- DEANS LANE - Flooding under the train bridge is closing the road.
- Route 1 North is a single lane at Raymond Road.
- There is heavy flooding on Route 27 and Stillwell Road.
- There is heavy flooding on New Road Near Route 1.
- Route 1 northbound between Ridge Road and Raymond Road closed due to flooding
- Blackhorse Lane between Henderson Road and Progress Road closed due to flooding
- Jughandle from Rt. 1 South to Raymond Road closed due to flooding
