Fuel Prices Skyrocketing in Region

Gas prices increased an average of 12 cents in New Jersey over the last week, hitting an average of $3.52 per gallon, according to AAA Midlantic in Hamilton.

Nationally, prices increased 11 cents a gallon to $3.71, the travel group said in a release today.

Over the last year, gas prices have increased 88 cents per gallon in New Jersey with the average fill up costing $55.65, up from $42.45 a year ago.
