Halloween Spooktacular Returning to South Brunswick

Trick or treating, games and candy for kids, plenty of vendors for adults at the third annual South Brunswick Halloween Spooktacular.

One of the township's most popular events for kids will be moving to a larger venue this year to accommodate the increasing numbers of ghastly ghouls, princesses, pirates and more.

The annual South Brunswick Halloween Spooktacular is set for Oct. 27 from noon to 3 p.m. at South Brunswick High School. The Spooktacular, held at the Community Center on New Road the past few years, was moved to the high school as the crowds have grown each year.

The event is co-sponsored by the South Brunswick Department of Parks and Recreation and LocalChatBox.com. The Spooktacular is free and open to all, and will feature Ambient DJ's providing the music, a bounce house by PlaytimeParty.com, two dance shows by Dance on Q and Artists in Motion, and a karate show by Family Karate Super Center.

During the Spooktacular, kids can trick or treat in the safety of the indoor party with local businesses. There will be games, prizes and lots of candy, in addition to something for parents as well.

Several vendors will be selling products to allow adults to get an early start on Holiday Shopping. Vendors already signed up include Mad Science, Massage LuXe, All About the Mouse Disney Travel, Lia Sophia, The Learning Experience of Monmouth Junction, Tastefully Simple, Origami Owl, That Pottery Place, D'Bella Salon, Jeff's Garage, CanDo Fitness, Princeton Fitness and Wellness of Plainsboro, Day By Day Hope Foundation, SBAA, Kindercare, Montessori Children's World in Dayton, Dipam International, Brunswick Urgent Care and more.
