Help SBHS Win $100k During Teen Driving Safety Week
Pledge to drive safely each day from Oct. 18-26 and help SBHS win a $100,000 educational grant and a concert from Kelly Clarkson.

In an effort to promote safe driving habits among teens, the South Brunswick High School Driver Education Department is joining State Farm Insurance to recognize National Teen Driving Safety Week from Oct. 16 through Oct. 28.
With motor vehicle accidents rated the leading cause of teenage deaths in the nation, SBHS students have made posters and created safe-driving slogans to remind other kids about the risks of distracted driving, using cell phones and texting while driving, driving under the influence, the importance of seat belt use and passenger safety. As part of the campaign, SBHS will have a chance to win a $100,000 educational grant from State Farm and could also win one of two hometown concert events with Grammy Award winning singer Kelly Clarkson.
To help SBHS win the grant, all people need to do is make a safe driving commitment once a day, every day, between Oct. 18 and 26. The more safe driving commitments that are made, the better the school’s chance of winning $100,000 and hosting one of the concerts.
