Here's The Roadwork Schedule In South Brunswick

An updated list of roadwork going on in the township and the anticipated completion date.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Several roadwork projects are happening in South Brunswick currently. You may often come across road closures and traffic diversions as a result.

Here's a review of intermediate and long-term infrastructure projects requiring road closures and detours within the township:

Henderson Road Culvert Project — Middlesex County Office of Public Works has undertaken this project, as the roadway is a County road. Henderson Road was scheduled to be closed to through traffic for six to nine months while a bridge is replaced. The anticipated completion date is Nov. 15.

New Road Sewer Replacement Project - This project, undertaken by South Brunswick, involves the replacement of sewer lines along New Road, Kendall Park, along with the isolated replacement of sidewalks and curbing. When complete, the road will be milled, paved, and striped. Primary roadways affected are New Road, and Kendall Park Section. The anticipated completion date is Nov. 27.

Timber Ponds Utility Project - Crews are replacing water and sewer lines in the Timber Ponds development. Primary roadways affected are Crestview Drive, Joshua Court, Maurice Court, Shari Way, Patricia Way, and Hancock Drive. The anticipated completion date is Nov. 27.

Route 130/Fresh Ponds Road Project - This project, undertaken by South Brunswick Township, involves improvements to Fresh Ponds Road near the intersection of Route 130. The primary roadway affected is Fresh Ponds Road. The anticipated completion date is Nov. 27.
