Incumbents, Newcomer Elected to South Brunswick BOE

Azra Baig, Daniel Boyle and Harry Delgado elected to serve three-year terms on the South Brunswick Board of Education in uncontested race.

There was no drama to be found in local races on election night in South Brunswick, as the only race in the township saw three candidates running uncontested for the Board of Education.

Incumbent board members Daniel Boyle and Harry Delgado won another three-year term on the board, while newcomer Azra Baig won the seat of incumbent board Vice President Deborah Taylor, who did not seek another term.

Delgado was the top vote getter of the three, finishing with 4,541 votes, while Boyle finished with 4,247 votes and Baig finished with 3,883 votes, according to the Middlesex County Clerk's Office.

There were 124 write-in votes. Results are unofficial until certified by the county clerk.
