Last Link Of Freedom Trail Bikeway Complete In South Brunswick
The entire trail now runs from Ridge Road to the vicinity of Route 1.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — On Friday, South Brunswick held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the last link of the Freedom Trail Bikeway at the intersection on Stouts Lane.
In February, Council voted to award a contract to complete the final 1.03 miles of the Freedom Trail Bikeway based on a $680,000 grant awarded to South Brunswick through the New Jersey Department of Transportation’s Bikeway Grant Program.
The improvements between Stouts Lane and Route 1 completed the portion of the Freedom Trail Bikeway that crosses through the Township.
